Compared with "FireEye hacked red team tools stolen incident" (Dec 8, 2020), SolarWinds supply chain attack (Dec 13, 2020) is much more critical. It is because all Solarwinds updates released between March to June had been impacted. Some believed that it might be the root cause of how attackers gained access to FEYE’s own network. US Government called all federal civilian agencies to review and disconnect or power down SolarWinds Orion products immediately.
